Jakob Ellemann-Jensen
Jakob Ellemann-Jensen is Deputy Director General at the Danish Chamber of Commerce, responsible for areas including digitalization, international affairs, advisory services, and defense.
Before joining the Danish Chamber of Commerce, Jakob had a long career in Danish politics, most recently serving as Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Economic Affairs, and Leader of the Liberal Party (Venstre). He has also served as Minister of Defence and as Minister for Environment and Food.
Jakob holds a master’s degree in business law and has held senior positions in the private sector, including at IBM and Store Nord. He also has a background in the Danish Armed Forces, where he continues to serve as a Reserve Captain. Jakob is an active member of the boards of EIFO and IFU and serves as Chair of the Danish Ukraine Committee. And chairperson for Security Tech Space.
