Today, we employ around 350 employees – and as cybercrime grows, we need to grow. To support that goal, we are now looking for a Strategic Cyber Advisor who can make a difference in our Strategic Cyber Advisory team.

Strategic Cyber Advisory

At Truesec, our Strategic Cyber Advisory team delivers tangible results that strengthen our clients’ cyber resilience. Our advisors are hands-on experts who bridge the gap between strategy and execution, embedding cybersecurity from the C-suite to operational teams. We communicate effectively across all levels, translating complex cyber risks into actionable plans that resonate throughout the organization.

We rely on both your experience and industry-leading cybersecurity frameworks—including NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001, and more—to design and implement tailored roadmaps and robust controls. By working with us, you’ll help deliver measurable improvements for our clients, turning recommendations into real-world impact and supporting organizations in meeting their unique threat landscapes and compliance obligations.

The Role

We are looking for a cybersecurity professional that understands how to advice and guide clients through the fog of cybersecurity threats, tools, frameworks and legislation requirements. You are someone who enjoys taking security strategy and making it work for the business, and are passionate about making a real difference for the organization.

You combine cybersecurity, risk analysis and business understanding to improve cybersecurity posture for our clients – not only on paper, but IRL.

Your Potential Background

You ideally have 4-6 years of experience working in an cybersecurity advisory/consultancy capacity and potentially have a client network in Denmark. You are well versed in delivering & communicating cybersecurity gaps and cybersecurity roadmaps to both technical- & business profiles and higher management such as executive boards. You are also strong in identifying and developing future cybersecurity initiatives and services for Truesec and our clients.

Required Skills:

• Have some experience within Security frameworks (CIS v8, NIST CSF, ISO27001 etc.)

• Hands-on cybersecurity assessment using security frameworks

• Experienced in developing and communicating cybersecurity findings and cyber security roadmaps

• Experience in presenting cybersecurity findings and risk assessments to c-level and executive boards

• Knowledgeable of NIS2 and DORA

• You have great collaboration, communication and presentation skills (PowerPoint) and you can communicate clearly in Danish and English both orally and in writing.

• You have excellent Office365 (PowerPoint, Excel & Teams) skills

• You are a team player, and you find it natural to share your knowledge with your colleagues

Bonus Skills:

• Relevant certifications CISM, CISSP, CCSP, ISO2700x etc. is seen as an advantage

• Basic knowledge of infrastructure, AD, Azure, IGA, PAM and SOC is seen as an advantage.

• Knowledge in Incident Response

Due to the sensitivity in our assignments, we require Danish citizenship, citizenship in an EU country, or a Danish work permit.
