About Truesec – A Leading Cybersecurity Company

Since 2005, Truesec has been a native cybersecurity company, driven by one single purpose: Creating safety and sustainability in a digital world by preventing cyber breach and minimizing impact.

Over the years, we’ve earned the trust of organizations worldwide and gained a strong reputation internationally. Our team consists of dedicated specialists covering the entire spectrum of cybersecurity – with capabilities in Predict, Prevent, Protect, Respond, and Recover.

Today, we employ around 400 employees – and as cybercrime grows, we need to grow. To support that goal, we are now looking for an NDR Product Specialist to our Product team, who wants to make a difference in our Managed Security Services domain.

The Role

Join our Product Specialist team as an NDR Specialist, where you’ll take ownership of the technical landscape across our network detection and response capabilities. This hybrid role blends deep cyber security expertise with both internal and external enablement, ensuring our NDR platforms are optimally configured, continuously improved, and fully leveraged by our Security Operations teams and our customers. You will work primarily with Vectra and Darktrace to strengthen detection coverage, improve response workflows, and drive operational value from our NDR service offering.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as the technical platform specialist for NDR solutions, with a focus on Vectra and Darktrace, including deployment strategies, use case development, detection tuning, and operational best practices.

  • Monitor, assess, and communicate product updates, new capabilities, and roadmap changes from NDR vendors to ensure our detection capabilities remain effective and relevant.

  • Enable and educate – share your expertise by keeping SOC analysts and internal stakeholders up to date on NDR platform developments, detection opportunities, and best practices. Translate technical changes into actionable guidance and ensure knowledge is embedded in our processes.

  • Work closely with vendors, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, optimize deployments, and increase detection and response capabilities, representing the Product team with clarity and credibility.

  • Drive ongoing enhancements across our NDR tooling and processes, ensuring that new platform capabilities are rapidly and effectively integrated into our managed detection service.

Your Potential Background

We are looking for someone with a passion for cybersecurity, a strong sense of product ownership, and a collaborative mindset. You thrive in a dynamic environment, are eager to stay current with the latest developments in network detection and response, and enjoy sharing your expertise with others. You have 2-5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, ideally as a product specialist within NDR, a technical account manager, a detection engineer, or in a similar role within a SOC or MSSP environment.

Required Skills:

  • Deep familiarity with NDR platforms, including deployment strategies, detection engineering, and advanced technical capabilities within tools such as Vectra and Darktrace.

  • Experience with operationalizing NDR solutions in enterprise, SOC, or MSSP environments.

  • Strong interest in technical product ownership, with a proactive approach to learning and staying current with evolving NDR features, detection methods, and best practices.

  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Collaborative and outgoing personality; comfortable representing the team in cross-functional meetings, vendor dialogues, and technical customer discussions.

  • Self-motivated, with a proven ability to work independently.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Knowledge of vendor licensing models, service packaging, or commercial considerations related to NDR platforms.

  • Experience writing detection rules, configuring automated workflows, integrating APIs, or tuning detections within Vectra, Darktrace, or similar NDR platforms.

  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications or equivalent practical experience in network security, threat detection, or security operations.

  • Previous experience working in a SOC or MSSP environment.

Due to the sensitivity in our assignments, we require Swedish citizenship, citizenship in an EU country, or a Swedish work permit.
