Today, we employ around 300 employees across several entities such as Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Finland & the US, and as cybercrime grows, we need to grow. To support that goal, we are now looking for a Senior Accountant who wants to make a difference in our finance team.

Group Functions

Truesec consists of several domains who act as partners towards our customers within various different areas of cyber security. The group function supports with e.g. Marketing, People & Culture, Internal IT and Finance and do so both locally and globally. All functions act and collaborate with the organization with a business objective in mind as the tasks are crucial for Truesec to continue to prevent cyber breach and minimize impact.

A key role for a successful Finance Team

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and competent senior accountant to our finance team. Truesec is a fast-growing company with international ambitions so the role has plenty of opportunities for growth. You will assist with the development of our systems and processes, be a key player in the monthly financial close and reporting to ensure operational success.

You will gain increasing experience as the company grows utilizing technology to develop processes for a lean mean finance function. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulations and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.

In this position you report directly to Finance Manager and the role is based at the Office in central Stockholm.

What you will do

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements (K3) including group consolidation and cash flow statements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
  • Perform full balance sheet reconciliations and Inter-company re-invoicing and reconciliations between entities
  • Ensure accurate Tax and VAT reporting
  • Manage and drive compliance and statutory reporting and the external audit process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and accounting firms across our entities (Finland, Denmark, Germany, USA)
  • Leading initiatives to ensure process improvement, system development and always strive to improve
  • Any other ad hoc tasks as and when required

Your Potential Background

You have a strong foundation in finance, with experience in monthly closing and tax. You’re detail-oriented, organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Your proactive approach allows you to identify areas for improvement while maintaining compliance with financial standards. You are a team player and have a service-minded attitude which makes you a natural collaborator who thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting and ownership of month-end closing.
  • Strong knowledge of local GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Visma Net, Severa) and Excel proficiency
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills

Other Requirements:

  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, as required

Due to the sensitivity of our work, we require Swedish citizenship, citizenship in an EU country, or a Swedish work permit.
